The mechanism for unfolding the sofa, called a "Pantograph," is a modified version of the popular "eurobook" design. At its core, this design features a hinge-rotary mechanism, with one side attached to the stationary frame and the other to the movable part of the sofa (the seat). The side parts of the structure rotate 180 degrees during unfolding. In the process, the legs, along with the seat, move along an arc and lower onto the floor, providing access to the storage compartment for bedding and allowing the placement of the second half of the sofa. To prevent tilting during the transformation into soft furniture, a special spring and synchronizing rod have been added.
